RAC swimming pool is inaccessible during weekends

It seems like every time anyone tries to access the RAC swimming area during weekends, it is always unavailable to UMBC students. On the weekends, it is always reserved for local residents for their swimming recreation. Also during the weekdays, always non UMBC students have priority using the pool area other than UMBC students. After paying thousands of dollars in athletic fees during my undergraduate years and graduate school, i feel it is embarrassing that i had to leave the pool area and get up from the pool because an outside non UMBC person needs it. I have always told by non UMBC students to change lanes because they need to swim in tandem or do their whatever recreational stuff they do in the pool.
During the summer, when the demand of using the pool is higher, students are restricted to use only 4 lanes out of 8/9 lanes. Remaining lanes are always used by local residents and summer school. I wonder how much money RAC generates by renting their spaces to non UMBC students. If so, UMBC should reimburse their students of their percentage of athletic fees everyday a student is denied to use school resource which they have paid good money to attend.
