Can anyone who is computer-savvy help?

I just moved into West Hill this week, and since the campus WiFi isn't reliable up here, I purchased a router for my apartment. My friend helped me set it up and it seemed to be working just fine.
However, occasionally when I'm online, a page won't load or will be "unavailable". This happens while the connection is still strong and does not happen all the time, but it has happened in Chrome and Firefox. Does anyone have any insight on what's happening here? Too many tabs open? Something completely different?
