Toilet Paper'd was one thing, flat tire is something else
In the morning there was this sound from one of the tires when the car was parked (this hissing noise) - it was as though air was leaking. However, my sister and I had nothing to keep the tire from losing air. So, after all of my classes and after my sister finished work, we went back to the garage. My sister was driving the car, but then it made some rumbling sound while it was moving - great, a flat tire.
Next thing we did was drove it to a parking space so that we would not be in the way (no way would we desire to halt in the middle of a highway). Aside from calling our parents for assistance, my sister called the UMBC police for assistance - the thing is, they don't help with flat tires. Eventually, we put a spare tire in place of the flat one, but this is one heck of an inconvenience.
Is there a service somewhere at UMBC that helps people within the vicinity who have automobile problems (say, a flat tire or a malfunctioning tail-light)? Because I would not hope to halt in the middle of traffic (and you wouldn't want me to either, right?).
What do you think?
