Fulbright is holding a webinar on Wednesday May, 10 from 2pm to 3pm, on Fulbright Grants for Postdoctoral and Early Career Candidates. Webinar registration is necessary.

These webinars tend to have useful information and program staff are very helpful. Fulbright applications are due on August 1st.

For the purposes of the Fulbright Scholar Program, an applicant is eligible for postdoctoral awards if they will finish all of the requirements for their Ph.D. program by February 1, 2018, or have received their Ph.D. in the last five years (unless otherwise stipulated by an award description). Below is a list of awards open only to early career/postdoctoral candidates, meaning that applicants will be evaluated alongside fellow recent graduates. This list is by no means complete. A list of additional opportunities is available in our Catalog of Awards.

His project is called “From Repository to Readership: Applied Research in Book Publishing, Production and Publicity.” Working with Dr. Craig Saper, Kevin will investigate the printing, design, and distribution strategies of selected 1930s ephemera.  He plans on reprinting and publishing a broadside and pamphlet to explore the larger, participatory system of publishing that functions as a form of civic engagement and public scholarship.
