    <p>Late last month, <em>The Washington Post </em>published an article featuring <strong>Deborah Randall ‘94, theatre, </strong>the Artistic Director of Venus Theatre. In it, she discusses how her work with Venus Theater has built a reputation known for the production of female plays and how this continued effort has been at the forefront in establishing woman on D.C. stages.</p>

    <p>Earlier last month, a team from UMBC were guests on the <em>The Marc Steiner Show</em> on WEAA 88.9 FM. The team was interviewed by show producer <strong>Stefanie Mavronis ‘12, political science and media &amp; communication studies,</strong> about UMBC’s Critical Social Justice Week.</p>

    <p><strong>Kaprice Harris ‘93, interdisciplinary studies</strong>, has been appointed to the Senior Executive Service position of Procurement Officer and Chief of the Procurement Division of NASA’s Glenn Research Center. Harris earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland School of Law.</p>

    <p><strong>Stephanie Hill ‘86, computer science and economics,</strong> discusses her life after winning the Black Engineer of the Year Award (BEYA) in an article from blackengineer.com. After graduating from UMBC, Hill began working for Lockheed Martin Corp., where she is now serving as Vice President and General Manager of Lockheed’s Information Systems and Global Solutions civil business. In addition to being awarded the BEYA, she was also included in the EBONY Power 100 list.  <strong><strong><br>
