COEIT Celebration!
Save the Date! Sunday, May 5th 2:00 PM
Please join us for the 2024 COEIT Celebration! It will be held in person at the RAC on Sunday, May 5th from 2:00 -4:00.
There will be food, fun, prizes, games, and a raffle.
The Awards Ceremony for graduating seniors will begin at 2:00 on the RAC floor.
At approximately 2:30 the celebration events will begin on the track level. Clubs and Organizations will be showcasing their accomplishments and many will be hosting games or activities.
There will be a raffle for participating students.
The celebration will end at 4:00.
We hope to see you there!

Association of Old Crows APG-Susquehanna Chapter
Student Scholarship 2024-2025
Scholarship Amount: $2000
Applicants: Students
must be undergraduate degree-seeking in the areas of engineering, Information technologies, or computer sciences/engineering and be able to articulate a career interest related to the AOC
professional mission in the fields of military communications, electronic
warfare, electromagnetic spectrum management operations, cyber electromagnetic
activities, and/or information operations. For example, a future career on a
team that: develops systems that protect pilots from enemy anti-aircraft
weapons and ground troops and civilians from IEDs or develops tools and
programs to counter enemy cyber-attacks.
Instructions: Please
complete the application (attached) and essay and return to your school representative
with two academic reference letters of from your current university/college. Please see the attached application instructions and application form for more details.

Individual Course Withdrawal/ S/U Deadline Today!
Students can still Withdraw or Change to S/U Grading
Friday, April 5th is the deadline to withdraw from individual courses or change any course to
S/U grading for the Spring semester.
Withdrawn courses and courses utilizing S/U grading count as attempts but do not impact your GPA.
Withdrawing from individual courses can be done via the Schedule and Registration system in myUMBC. S/U grading requires the submission of a Help Ticket. Information about S/U grading and the link to submit the Help Ticket can be found
here.
If withdrawing from one or more courses will bring you to less than full time status (12 credits) there may be impacts in other areas such as
scholarship,
financial aid, and
on-campus housing. Questions about those areas should be directed to the appropriate office.
Students can withdraw from the entire semester though the last day of classes, May 14th. Full semester withdrawals can have serious impacts on other areas and should always be discussed with an advisor.

Now available are positions as UNIV 101/301 Teaching Assistants, Academic Peer Advocates, COEIT Peer Navigators, and OAPA Peer Advisors. The A-Team is made up of four offices across campus seeking undergraduate students to mentor and work with new and incoming students through a variety of opportunities.

The UMBC A-Team is currently accepting applications for four awesome opportunities for on-campus employment. Now available are positions as UNIV101/301 Teaching Assistants, Academic Peer Advocates, COEIT Peer Navigators, and OAPA Peer Advisors. The A-Team is made up of four offices across campus seeking undergraduate students to mentor and work with new and incoming students through a variety of opportunities.
COEIT Peer Navigators program is a new opportunity launching this Fall. We are looking for undergraduate COEIT majors excited to share their experiences with prospective students and help current students navigate their time at UMBC.
