2022 Cyber 101 Program Application
November 19, 2022 (in person) or November 20, 2022 (virtual)

The Cyber 101 Program is accepting applications from high school seniors (some juniors may be selected as well) who are  interested in computing and who would like to learn more about the field of cybersecurity. This will be the eighth year of this program for academically talented students who support the UMBC Center for Women in Technology’s mission to encourage and support women and other underrepresented groups to be leaders in computing and engineering fields.

If selected, participation will include interactions with college students, hands-on cybersecurity activities, and more.

We are offering both an in-person experience and a virtual experience this year (each attendee will attend only one day).  The time frame of the program is listed below. This is a free program for students who are selected to participate.

Saturday, November 19 -- 10am-6pm, in person at UMBC (includes lunch and dinner)
Sunday, November 20 -- 10am-3pm, virtually via Webex (includes a lunch break)

You must fully complete this online application to be considered for the program. Notifications will be sent out by Friday, November 11, 2022.

APPLICATION DEADLINE IS MONDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2022
