    <div class="html-content"><p>Interested in learning how maps are created and how spatial data is used in the real world? GES 286 introduces Geographic Information Systems and spatial analysis through hands-on activities and real applications.</p>
    <p>This course satisfies the GEP Science requirement with a lab component and is a great option for Summer I.</p>
    <p>What you will do<br>• Learn the basics of GIS and spatial analysis<br>• Work with mapping tools and real data<br>• Participate in engaging activities, including balloon mapping</p>
