Exciting News! International Collaboration with the Embassy of China On December 10th, we were honored to host esteemed delegates from the Embassy of China on campus at UMBC. This visit was a significant step toward strengthening global ties and fostering meaningful academic exchange.

During their visit, we discussed:
  • The newly launched Young Envoys Scholarship (YES) Program, which offers opportunities for American students.
  • Enhancing two-way exchange programs for students and scholars between UMBC and Chinese universities.
  • Potential collaborations in teacher training initiatives.

The day featured engaging discussions, a collaborative lunch with UMBC leadership, and a guided campus tour showcasing our vibrant academic community.
