We are hosting a community meeting for Latinx/a/o graduate students to check on your well-being amid ongoing changes. We aim to understand your feelings, questions, and concerns while ensuring the campus provides support. While we may not have immediate answers to issues like federal funding or policy changes, we want to take note of your concerns, identify key campus contacts, and explore advocacy opportunities.
We are also inviting the Latinx, Hispanic, and Faculty Staff Association (LHFSA) to listen to the conversation, as they can help advocate for your needs, share insights on available resources, and collaborate on efforts to support students. See the flyer below.

Save-a-Swipe is accepting donations to help further our mission of supporting students who are facing financial hardship and are experiencing food insecurity.
Each donated swipe will directly contribute to providing one "meal" to students in need. The deadline to donate is February 25th.

Retriever Integrated Health Spring 2025 Offerings
Learn more about the support groups and workshops available!
We're excited to pass along some resources and workshops that Retriever Integrated Health is offering this semester. They are offering both in-person and virtual groups, as well as many groups that will remain open for participants throughout the semester. Their workshops will be covering a variety of topics including anxiety, sleep, mindfulness and executive functioning.
The first step for a student to join a group is to complete a brief Initial Consultation appointment, which they can schedule by calling RIH (410-455-2542) or making an appointment through the RetrieverCare portal. Anyone interested in more information can contact the RIH Front Desk via the patient portal.
Any UMBC community member can attend a workshop and there's no Initial Consultation appointment required. All RIH services are LGBTQIA2S+ friendly and are welcoming to all diverse populations.
