In March, DoIT announced <a href="http://my.umbc.edu/groups/doit/news/43512" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Sherri Braxton-Lieber</a> as our new Director of Instructional Technology. In July, she announced two new specialists, <a href="http://my.umbc.edu/groups/doit/news/45172" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Holly Bielak and Mariann Hawken</a>. They joined <a href="http://my.umbc.edu/groups/doit/news/31498" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Tom Penniston</a>, who worked with us part-time last year, and is now working full-time as a specialist, too. Finally, we have recently added <a href="http://my.umbc.edu/groups/doit/news/45875" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Brad Boyle</a> to support the <a href="http://doit.umbc.edu/imc/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">International Media Center</a> (IMC) and <a href="https://wiki.umbc.edu/x/EAGRAQ" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Scantron test scoring</a>.<br><br>While everyone is well-versed in <a href="http://www.umbc.edu/blackboard/help" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Blackboard</a>, there’s a nice mix of expertise across all of the <a href="http://doit.umbc.edu/itnm" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">instructional technologies</a> DoIT supports, including <a href="http://www.umbc.edu/clickers" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">clickers</a>, <a href="http://www.umbc.edu/go/hybrid" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">hybrid/blended course redesign</a>, <a href="http://doit.umbc.edu/analytics" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">learning analytics</a> and <a href="https://wiki.umbc.edu/display/faq/TechSmith+Relay" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">screencasting</a>. Also, you’ll likely notice more <a href="http://doit.umbc.edu/itnm" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">workshops and brown bags</a> as the new team is even holding a special drawing for people who frequent DoIT events. From scheduled workshops to individual or small group consults, if you’d like to learn more, please contact <strong>Sherri Braxton-Lieber</strong> at 410.455.2121 or <a href="http://" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">sblieber@umbc.edu</a>. <br>
