Writing Advisor
The Writing Advisor is back for the 2023-2024 academic school year!
GSA's new Writing Advisor for the 2023-2024 academic school year, Ben Marino, is now accepting appointments to review your writing assignments. The Writing Advisor provides a wide range of services, from brainstorming and outlining an assignment to doing a last review for grammatical errors, and everything in between. Please do not hesitate to make an appointment with the Writing Advisor for any assignment that you would like reviewed. You do not need to have any work done on the assignment.
This semester, the writing advisor is accepting appointments on Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:30 am - 12 pm and 12:30 pm - 3:45 pm, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm. An appointment can be scheduled using either of the following links:

Only New Graduate Assistants (GA, TA & RAs) must attend
August 24, from 1PM to 4PM Online
This event is mandatory for all NEW Graduate Assistants, this includes teaching assistants, research assistants, graders and peaceworkers. We encourage the additional participation of any graduate student who may be teaching in the future or as a refresher for returning GAs.
Join us for this need-to-know information session (orientation) for new GAs on August 24, from 1PM to 4PM Online. Chartwells Higher Education will be hosting an all day hiring event from 10am-4pm. These on-campus positions are listed below, along with the job ID# associated in Handshake. Please be sure to thoroughly review the companies, job descriptions, and requirements before signing up. You will see each interview time frame listed in Handshake as separate events.

Current On-Campus Opportunities at Chartwells Higher Education
If you are unable to book a time slot because they are already full, you are welcome to attend the Power Hour from 3pm-4pm. The interviewers will work to see as many applicants as possible during this time, however, AN INTERVIEW IS NOT GUARANTEED. There will be an area to drop off your resume if you are not able to meet with someone.
*YOU SHOULD ONLY SIGN UP FOR ONE SLOT PER JOB TITLE* If you accidentally sign up for more than one time frame under a job title, please remove yourself from your least preferred time. In order to accommodate everyone who is interested, we will be removing duplicate sign ups should we see them come through.
