The Employee Benefits Division is excited to announce a series of Virtual Spring Wellness Fair Events from Monday, May 9th thru Friday, May 20th. 

During the Spring Wellness Virtual Fairs, each of our health plan vendors will share information about their no-cost wellness resources available to their members. You'll hear all about wellness coaching, weight management programs, behavioral health support, financial wellness, oral wellness, and more.

The annual enrollment for USM MetLife Optional Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability Insurance begins today, March 14 and will run until March 28.  Employees that already participate in one or both benefits, the current coverage will continue, with no action required.

During this year's Annual Enrollment, eligible employees* may either enroll for the first time or increase their coverage. Elections made during this enrollment period will be effective April 1, 2022, or the first of the month following MetLife's approval of the request.

In addition to online enrollment, we are excited to announce employees can now enroll via telephone. Employees can also schedule an appointment to speak with a licensed, professional Benefit Coach during this year's enrollment period. The Coach will review the benefits, costs, answer questions, and enroll or waive employees in the benefits they choose in one easy phone call.
