On Saturday, October 4th, Retriever Robotics (RR) sent a few representatives to help out with the VEX Scrimmage hosted by the Baltimore City Robotics Center. Great job to all of the students who participated with the scrimmage!

Battle O'Baltimore
Volunteering with FIRST
On Friday, September 19th, RR helped set-up the field for the Battle O'Baltimore (BOB). BOB is an off season robotics competition for high school students participating in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC).
The competition itself was on September 20th and had 32 teams, over 80 volunteers, and hundreds of parents, mentors, and visitors. Many RR members originated from FIRST programs, so it was great to give back and take a stroll down memory lane.
Congrats to all of the students who participated in the Battle O'Baltimore and good luck on next year's competition!

RR is ready for Involvement Fest... Are you?
If you see a robot or so roaming around the Commons... do not be alarmed! It is simply Retriever Robotics (RR) getting ready for another exciting semester. Feel free to approach RR members to test drive some of the bots! (Fair warning: Our robots have been known to "attack" people who don't stop by to say "hi".)
Interested in designing, building, and/or coding robots? How about robotics related outreach and professional development? Do you want to be apart of a community of people who love robots? If you said yes to any of those questions, make sure to stop by the RR booth at Involvement Fest (located in the Intellectual Sports section on the Quad).
