We need your help this season! UMBC Mock Trial is taking on its most competitive season ever: we want to attend invitationals at Drexel University, Elizabethtown College, William and Mary, Temple University, the University of Pennsylvania, Johns Hopkins University, and Georgetown University.

Unfortunately, there is a gap between our funding from UMBC and the costs of attending these tournaments. Nearly all have invitational fees and costs associated with hotel stays. Attending tournaments like these is vital for the continued growth and success of our program. We hope you’ll consider donating and supporting our continued efforts to build UMBC Mock Trial into a powerhouse.

-INVOLVEMENT FEST: Wednesday, September 7, 2016. We will be at UMBC’s Involvement Fest from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Come visit our table on the Quad and ask us any questions you have! Following that, we will be hos

-INTEREST MEETINGS: Come to an Interest Meeting in the Student Orgs Space in the Commons. You must attend at least one Interest Meeting to try-out for the program, or contact the executive board separately. At the Interest Meeting we will answer further questions about Mock Trial and explain the tryout process. At the end of the Interest Meeting you will tell us whether you wish to tryout. This will allow us to assign you a time slot on try-out night.

-TRYOUTS: Monday, September 19, 2016. Tryouts for the 2016-17 season will be held on the evening of Monday, September 19, 2016. Tryout times will be assigned following the Interest Meetings. All students that tryout will be informed of the Executive Board’s team decisions within 24 hours of the tryouts.
