The Center for Global Engagement invites UMBC faculty and staff to a professional development opportunity. Please save the date for an informative, globally focused event filled with sessions designed to support your research or professional aspirations. There will be separate tracks for faculty and staff.
Topics include :
- ACIREMA lab: intercultural simulation designed to sensitize faculty and staff to the challenges faced by international students in the United States: Dr. David DiMaria
- Introducing the Fulbright Scholar Awards: Dr. Brian Souders
- Hosting international scholars in your department: Dave Anguish and Diane Zeenny Ghorayeb
- Leading a UMBC faculty-directed study abroad program: Katherine Heird and Ogonna Owu Jones.
