Don’t miss your chance to enter the first annual Maryland Cyber Challenge & Conference (MDC3), being held October 21-22 at the Baltimore Convention Center.  MDC3 is a competition for high school and college students and professionals interested in technology and cyber security.  Show us how you would keep our nation secure.  Visit MDC3.org for all the details! 

What It Is: Teams will compete for scholarships and prizes in fun, real-world scenarios that let students show off their IT, cybersecurity, and critical-thinking skills. 

Who Can Compete: Students who have an interest in technology and/or cybersecurity—no prior competitive experience necessary! 

How to Get Started: Attend one of three orientation sessions being held for faculty advisors and students at UMBC from 6:00-7:00pm:
Monday, May 2nd
Wednesday, May 18th
Tuesday, June 21st

There were 97 students registered for the first annual WIT: Spring into Leadership Event. The evening included an inspiring keynote address by Ms. Myra Norton, CEO of Community Analytics. Attendees participated in a networking activity where they listed two goals that they are working on this year. All attendees used post-it notes with their contact information  and indicate that they could help another attendee with a particular goal.  Pictures will be posted soon!
