    <div class="html-content">If you’ve got too much to carry, consider stashing some of your books in a locker!  The AOK Library has lockers that can be checked out on a daily or semester-ly basis (for free!).<br><br>​<strong>Daily lockers</strong> are available to UMBC students, faculty, and staff for a 24 hour period. Stop at the Check Out desk to pick up a key.  <br><br><strong>Semester lockers</strong> can be reserved for an entire semester at a time (Spring or Fall). Interested UMBC students, faculty and staff, please fill out the <a href="https://library.umbc.edu/studyrooms/lockers/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Locker Application Form</a>.<br>            <br><strong>Please note:</strong><br><ul>
    <li>Materials kept in lockers and locker keys are the responsibility of the user. The library takes no responsibility for material lost, stolen or damaged while stored in lockers.</li>
    <li>Food and drink may not be stored in lockers.</li>

    <strong>Job no:</strong> 492609<br><strong>Work type:</strong> Staff Full-time<br><strong>Location:</strong> UMBC Campus<br><strong>Categories:</strong> Library<br><br><br><strong>Responsibilities:  </strong>   <br>Reporting to the Collection Management/Interlibrary Loan Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for lending to, or borrowing from, other libraries, and will query national and local online databases, as well as internet and reference sources, to search and verify bibliographic references.  Specific duties include: search and retrieve journals and books;  scan and deliver articles for ILL and document delivery; prepare and send print materials; assist in supervising and training student assistants.  <br>Note: This position requires physical labor-lifting and pushing loaded book trucks.<br><br><strong>Required Minimum Qualifications:</strong>     <br>Requires a High School Diploma or GED; one year of experience directly related to the primary duties of the position.  Must have good organization and communication skills and be detail oriented, self motivated and flexible.  The ability to work independently is essential.<br><br><strong>Preferred Qualifications:  </strong>    <br>1. Proficient with word processing applications<br>2. Experience using ILLiad management system and/or RAPID<br>3.
