SINGLE CARROT THEATRE SEEKS AUDIO ENGINEER

Single Carrot Theatre (SCT) is seeking audio engineer for the World Premiere of MIDLIFE, a new play by Ben Hoover, to support the implementation of an innovative audio design component.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with audio equipment including microphones, cables, and speakers large and small.

•Experience working with QLab a must.

•Ability to enact creative problem solving in executing special effects or special projects.

•Interest in experimental theater a plus.

The Maryland Historical Society is seeking part-time Museum Educators (Docents) to deliver onsite interactive tours and workshops for both K-12 students and adult groups. These are flexible, intermittent positions that are scheduled primarily Wednesday through Friday, with occasional weekend hours. Work will be assigned according to the schedule of requested programs, which is usually heaviest from October to November and March to May. Occasionally, additional opportunities are available for work with non-school groups, summer programs, and public programs.

• Several collections of UMBC faculty papers in the University Archives
• The Baltimore Sun photographs collection, featuring approximately 750,000 photographs produced for the Baltimore Sun and Evening Sun between the 1930s to 1990s
• Several additions to the Science Fiction Manuscripts collection, including manuscripts of works from notable authors including Isaac Asimov and Roger Zelazny

Inventory Controller

Position:

Renaissance Fine Arts is seeking an Inventory Controller. The Inventory Controller is responsible for inventorying the artwork for three fast paced art galleries including unpacking crates, photographing the art, creating database entries for art, and wrapping the art for transport.

Successful candidates must be detail oriented, self motivated, good with numbers, and good with photography. Carpentry skills are a plus.

The Director of Finance and Administration is responsible for managing the financials and other administrative aspects of the Creative Alliance. The Director of Finance reports to the Executive Director. The Director of Finance partners with program and development staff to develop and manage short- and long-term budgets.

The following are illustrative tasks and outcomes for the Director of Finance. Each year as the Creative Alliance defines its action plan, the deliverables for this position will be aligned with our strategies.
