The Development and Membership Manager is responsible for expanding, cultivating and securing funding from individuals, foundations, corporations, and government to support GBCA’s nearly $1 million operations. The position also manages and works together with the Membership Services Assistant to manage and recruit members and to design and implement programming that supports the cultural sector.

The Maryland Humanities Council (MHC), a nonprofit organization based in Baltimore that serves the state with free public humanities programs, seeks an Office Manager. MHC—through nearly 1,000 public events offered annually in a dozen programs—serves 125,000+ with direct programming and reaches an additional 700,000+ through radio, online, and festivals. MHC’s mission is to create and support educational experiences in the humanities that inspire all Marylanders to embrace lifelong learning, exchange ideas openly, and enrich their communities.

Urban Rangers serve as guides along the heritage area’s network of urban heritage trails, including Heritage Walk, Historic Fell’s Point Trail, Mount Vernon Cultural Walk, and Pennsylvania Avenue Heritage Trail. The heritage area offers daily scheduled guided tours from May 1 through November 1. Group tours, school tours, and summer camp experiences are also offered.
