It is particularly useful for organizing, sorting, and sharing sources and projects between writing partners or groups. Scrivener is a writing platform particularly useful for organizing, drafting, and revising long-form writing in the humanities and social sciences. Dr. Oyen will demonstrate some of the advantages of using both with samples from her own work.</div>

<div>Ed Larkey, Modern Languages, Linguistics, and Intercultural Communication</div>

He is currently using Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Microsoft Excel, Atlas,ti, MultiModal Analysis, and Cinemetrics to compile, correlate, and visualize quantitative and qualitative data related to temporal parameters on narrative structure, sequences, and content. The session will be of interest to faculty doing research in anthropology, cultural studies, ethnography, discourse analysis, and audiovisual analysis.</div>
