Baltimore Musicales is holding auditions for our 2021-2022 season. At this time we are only hearing singers who have been fully vaccinated.

Each concert will feature 4 singers and a collaborative pianist in an intimate hour long program followed by a reception. Past seasons have included 5 mainstage concerts and 2-3 outreach performances, and featured approximately 20 singers per season.

The Annapolis Symphony Orchestra seeks a full-time Box Office & Administrative Manager to manage the administrative needs of the ASO office and to provide administrative and operational support to the Development, Marketing, Technology and Digital areas.

CSC Volunteers at the Patapsco Female Institute (PFI) venue in Ellicott City, will help set up and take down folding chairs, help with set up/take down of the House Manager’s tent and table, help guide patrons to available seating and answer very general questions, or direct patrons to the House Manager or Box Office for assistance. Volunteers are asked to arrive 2 hours prior to the performance and it’s recommended they dress comfortably with good walking shoes and bring water to drink.

Mid Atlantic Arts seeks a Program Specialist to assist and support the program officers who work in the development and implementation of programs primarily in the Mid-Atlantic region. The program specialist reports to the Executive Director and works in close collaboration with program officers.

As a vital part of the Guest Services Department and Port Discovery team, Museum Experience Associates are responsible for providing guests with an excellent, memorable experience, stellar customer service, and supporting the Museum’s mission and educational philosophy. As a member of our team, you’ll support playful learning and discovery through meaningful interaction with children and adults, ignite imaginations, and promote the power of play in children through hands-on experiences.

We’re pleased to announce that UMBC faculty can now import publications from ORCID into Digital Measures (DM)! 

ORCID is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting research and researchers. ORCID provides persistent digital identifiers that researchers own and control for sharing information with other systems, ensuring proper attribution and recognition for scholarly output, and saving time and hassle. Over 1,000 organizations, many of them universities and research institutions, participate as consortial members in ORCID. 

This new integration with Digital Measures (DM) was made possible as part of UMBC’s ORCID membership which took effect on March 1, 2021. UMBC faculty members updating the Intellectual Contributions section of their DM profiles can now select ORCID from the list of third party services offering imported citations. We know faculty maintain records in many online systems and we’re pleased to be able to provide this as an option for saving time.
