Annex Theater seeks a movement professional to consult on their upcoming show of the 2018 season, Life or Theatre? This is a multi-disciplinary theater piece and world premiere debuting on May 24th at Annex Theater in downtown Baltimore. The position will collaborate with the director incorporating movement work into the overall piece.

Annex Theater is holding auditions for LIFE OR THEATRE? the next show of its 2018 season. LIFE OR THEATRE? is a new work written and directed by Carly J. Bales (Director: Stupid Ghost, Cleveland; Recent: The Tempest), adapted from the work and life of artist Charlotte Salomon.

Scripts and sides will be provided via email and at the audition. Bringing a short monologue and song is preferred but not required!

Baltimore Water Taxi is looking for 8 interns to join their first ever sales and marketing field team. Interns will be conducting grassroots sales activities like performing neighborhood canvasing campaigns, creating content for social media and their website, assisting with customer support, surveying, and observation to inform our user experience research, and more! This is an excellent opportunity to learn the ropes of small businesses, try new ideas, and have real responsibility and hard goals in a work environment. Interns will also have the opportunity to attend professional trainings in sales, marketing, and other critical business skills. This is the opposite of a boring desk job. If you’re an outgoing people-person, a clear communicator across all mediums, and interested in how to build a business, this opportunity might be perfect for you!

Pay is $12/hr with performance-based bonuses available every week.

BALTIMORE CENTER STAGE seeks two non-Equity female-identifying dancers to join the ensemble of SOUL The Stax Musical by Matthew Benjamin, directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah and choreographed by Chase Brock. Dancers must be versatile. A background in jazz, musical theatre and/or ballet is a plus. Dancers of all ethnicities are encouraged to apply. Rehearsals will take place Tuesday, March 27, 2018 through Thursday, May 10, 2018. Performances, Thursday, May 3, 2018 through Sunday, June 10, 2018. Auditions and callbacks will be held from 5pm to 8pm on Thursday, March 15, 2018.
