The Baltimore Office of Promotion and The Arts (BOPA) is a non-profit arts and events organization charged with making Baltimore a more creative and vibrant city. The organization’s programs include city-wide special events and festivals (Artscape, Baltimore Book Festival, parades, fireworks) as well as management of historic sites and cultural facilities (School 33 Art Center, Top of the World Observation Level, Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower, The Cloisters).

The Baltimore Center Stage Costume Shop seeks a First Hand to join the costume team. The position is responsible for supporting the Draper with all phases of costume construction including cutting, sewing and fitting. Qualified candidates must be capable of lifting up to 30 pounds. Baltimore Center Stage is seeking a Director of Finance. Known as The State Theater of Maryland, we are an artistically driven institution committed to engaging, educating, and expanding the horizons of diverse audiences through challenging, bold, thought-provoking classical and contemporary theater. We have recently completed our Theater Renovation Project and will be wrapping up the current Capital Campaign. As a member of the senior management team, this uniquely qualified individual will enjoy the rare opportunity to be a key member in the transition and re-invention of our theater.

The Walters Art Museum seeks to hire a librarian and archivist as head of the Walters Research Library and Archives. S/he manages all functions of a specialized research library of 120,000 volumes and the institutional archives of ca. 2,500 linear feet (plus curatorial files). The librarian/archivist provides research support to staff members in all departments of the museum, as well as to outside researchers by appointment.

Baltimore Ghost Tours (www.baltimoreghosttours.com) has a fall opening for a tour guide for our two hour haunted pub walks and one hour haunted walking tours in Fell’s Point. Tours are on Friday and Saturdays, March - November, at 7:00pm (pub tours) and 8:00 pm (ghost tours), and group tours are scheduled for various dates/times.

The ColumbiaOrchestra seeks a creative and hard-working part-time Marketing Manager to join its team. Hours are flexible (approximately 18 hours/week) but include regular office hours. This festival honors and awards the best filmmakers in the Greater Baltimore region. We’ll select short films that push the envelope and inspire audiences to view film and video through a uniquely Baltimore lens. Made In Baltimore will accept fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, horror, mockumentary—you name it! Submissions will be judged on technical excellence, originality, and Baltimore flavor.
