The BMA is seeking a detail-oriented Education Program Coordinator to assist in the project management, implementation, and evaluation of Education programs from October 2015 through October 2016.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong skills in administration and project management, communicate and collaborate successfully with colleagues, and have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. The position will need to be available selected evenings and weekends for Education Department events.

The Walters Art Museum has a full time opening for a dynamic and energetic individual to work in the Museum Advancement Division. As a Grants Officer, the incumbent is responsible for the Walters Art Museum’s grant program including writing applications and reports; stewardship of government, foundation and corporate funders; identifying public and private sector support; leading cross-divisional team through the writing process; and ensuring that grant funding is expended and reported in accordance with donor requirements.

The Baylor New Venture Competition is a two-day, dual round business plan competition and speed pitch competition promoting entrepreneurship and small business development.

Center Stage is seeking candidates for a new position, Digital Marketing Project Manager. As part of a nine-person marketing team, this position will play a key role in managing the development of Center Stage’s new website and the implementation of Tessitura as well as help develop the theater’s digital marketing efforts. BS/MS in marketing or related field; experience with databases, websites, email, social media, and display advertising. The position is fulltime, year-round with benefits. Center Stage is committed to building a diverse community of staff and interns.

Baltimore Theatre Project is looking to build its pool of technicians for work and show calls. Applicants should be comfortable climbing an A-frame with extension to hang and focus lights, familiar with programming and running an ETC Express, and be able to run and troubleshoot a microphone and a projector. QLab knowledge and lighting design experience a plus. Calls are usually evening and weekends, but we have immediate need for staff with daytime availability. This is an hourly paid position.

The purpose of the PNC Scholars/Fellows Program is to provide awards up to $3,000 to outstanding UMBC students interested in becoming an entrepreneur.  This award is associated with UMBC’s Alex. Brown Center for Entrepreneurship.  The scholarship will be awarded for the 2015-2016 academic year. 

The awards will be used as academic scholarships (up to $1,000), or as “seed funding” (up to $3,000) to launch new ventures or community based social entrepreneurship projects.

Criteria:

Students interested in applying for this award should:

• Submit a 1-2 page personal statement about their interest in entrepreneurship.  The statement should:
• Describe the impact an academic scholarship will have on their future as an entrepreneur or social innovator or
• Describe how the award money will be used as “seed funding” to launch a new venture, or “seed funding” to launch a community based social entrepreneurship project.  Submit a preliminary budget outlining anticipated expenses.
• Submit an updated resume
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
