THE ORGANIZATION
The Baltimore National Heritage Area (BNHA) is one of 13 certified heritage areas in Maryland and one of 49 Congressionally-designated national heritage areas. BNHA works to accomplish its mission through a variety of products and programs, including hosting guided walking tours, developing new heritage tourism products, and providing grants that encourage tourism and historic preservation.

CREATIVE ALLIANCE’S RESIDENT ARTIST PROGRAM

The application process for the Creative Alliance Residency Program is open and will conclude on TUESDAY MARCH 5, 2019. Creative Alliance is accepting applications for its live/work studio Residency Program beginning in Summer 2019. This long-term program, founded in 2003, is open to artists of all media who would like to deepen their practice in a supportive, dynamic environment, and interact with colleagues who thrive in a lively cross-cultural, multi-disciplinary live/work environment.

Deep Vision Dance Company seeks vibrant, intelligent, versatile dancers with a collaborative spirit for their 2019 and 2020 performance years. Dancers receive rehearsal and performance honorariums. Rehearsals take place on Sundays (4-9pm) and Mondays (6:15-9:30pm).

Audition Details:

The Visitor Services Associate performs all functions of the Visitor Services Department in order to provide a high level of customer service to the Maryland Historical Society’s members, visitors, volunteers and staff. This position also has key responsibilities for security functions including opening and closing of the buildings; and monitoring the safety and security of MdHS facilities.

SINGLE CARROT THEATRE SEEKS TECHNICAL DIRECTOR FOR PRODUCTION OF PINK MILK

Single Carrot Theatre is seeking a Technical Director for upcoming production of Pink Milk.

The Howard County Arts Council is thrilled to renew its collaboration with the Howard Hughes Corporation for the second annual Merriweather District Artist in Residence Program (MD AIR). Up to three artists will be selected from entries submitted nation-wide and provided with a $10,000 stipend, studio space and housing to spend up to six weeks in residence, from May 13-June 24, 2019. MD AIR is open to local, national and international artists working in all media including, but not limited to, performance, video, 2-D and 3-D visual arts, dance, music, and the spoken word.

The Support Specialist supports and reports to the Director of Operations. The position also supports the work of the Financial Officer, the Grants and Operations Officer, and the Director of External Affairs, as well as performing certain general administrative functions for the Foundation.
