Job Title: Community Engagement Manager

Hours: 35 hours/week, with occasional weekend and evening programs

Baltimore Center Stage seeks a part-time Group Sales Representative to grow and cultivate new group sales patrons for the 2018/19 Season. Primary duties include use knowledge of the Baltimore DMA to identify target prospects, cultivate new relationships and maintain existing relationships that complement the theater’s programming, approaching these prospects through email, direct mail, in-person, and cold-calling. The Group Sales Representative will need to meet production group ticket income goals as set by the Associate Director of Marketing.

The Howard County Arts Council is seeking artwork in all media to include in upcoming exhibits. Individual artists, aged 18 & older, as well as curators and arts groups interested in presenting a group show, are encouraged to apply. Our Exhibits Committee meets quarterly to review applications and select artists for the exhibit space.

The Walters Art Museum has an immediate opening in our Security Department for a Gallery Officer on the dayshift; core work schedule is 9:15am to 5:15pm, Wednesday through Sunday. The individual will have responsibility for preparing the galleries for daily operation, monitoring activities in the Museum and implementing museum procedures as needed.

Responsibilities:

The Development Manager will advance the mission of the Walters by planning, organizing, and implementing strategies to increase the level of personal involvement and financial commitment by contributors. Emphasis will be given to establishing and achieving escalating annual support from individuals, and expanding the number and contribution level of those who associate with the Walters as members and donors.

Visual Art Facilitator

Baltimore Youth Arts is a creative entrepreneurship and job training program that provides artistic and professional opportunities to youth, ages 14-22, with a focus on on those involved in the justice system. Our mission is to assist young people in gaining the creative, personal, and educational skills that will enable them to become leaders in their communities.

Baltimore Youth Arts is currently hiring a Visual Art instructor for upcoming sessions at the Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center.

Spring Museum Education Internship

Duration of Internship: January 23rd – May 31st

The Maryland Historical Society (MdHS) seeks an enthusiastic intern (undergraduate, graduate, or recent graduate) for the spring semester to assist the Education Department in expanding our reach with our diverse youth and adult audiences. MdHS is the oldest cultural institution in the state of Maryland and contains a museum and library with over seven million documents and five hundred thousand objects.

Chesapeake Shakespeare Company in Baltimore seeks an experienced, skilled, and theater-loving Marketing Associate-Graphic Designer. This is a full-time position working in our downtown office, with approximately 60% of weekly responsibilities devoted to project management and 40% of weekly responsibilities devoted to graphic design in the marketing office of a thriving professional nonprofit theater for the classics. Three to five years of experience in graphic design (digital and print), and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, are required.

The Baltimore Museum of Art (BMA) seeks an energetic, detail-oriented individual for the position of Conservation Assistant.
