The Grants Specialist is primarily responsible for all elements of the grant-seeking process: researching and cultivating funding prospects and opportunities, preparing LOIs and proposals, and accurately tracking and reporting on grant-supported activities to funders. Annual and long-term fundraising goals will be set in consultation with the Director of Advancement. Specific responsibilities are outlined below. The Grants Specialist works collaboratively with the other members of the Advancement team as well as Program staff members in furthering the financial resources of the organization in order to maximize the potential for growth and impact of Maryland Humanities’ dozen programs.

The Event Manager is responsible for managing Box Office and Technicians at each Motor House event to ensure a successful event.

Overview:

The BMA is recruiting a team of empathetic, articulate, and enthusiastic individuals to serve as gallery interpreters in the Joseph Education Center. These part-time, temporary positions report to the Manager of Community Engagement. The position term runs from December 9, 2017 through June 30, 2018. This position compensation is $12/hour for 6 hours per week—with an additional 2 hours of paid training per month—for a total of 26 hours per month.
