The Baltimore Museum of Art (BMA) seeks an experienced production coordinator/AV technician to manage audio/visual components in the museum’s 366-seat auditorium. This full-time, exempt position reports to the Director of Events in the Finance and Administration division.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Ensures smooth operation of AV components for all BMA programming and event rentals in the Auditorium.

The Reginald F. Lewis Museum is seeking a Coordinator of Public and School Programs. The Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of all public programs, school groups and tours, assisting with the development and teaching of education programs, as well as training and coordinating program-related volunteers. The Coordinator of Public and School Programs will report to the Director of Education and Visitor Services. 

As a vital part of the Guest Services Department and Port Discovery team, the Guest Services Manager leads the day-to-day Guest Services operations and mentors the Guest Services team in providing guests with an excellent, memorable experience, stellar customer service, and supporting the Museum's mission and educational philosophy. As a member of our team, you'll support playful learning and discovery through meaningful interaction with children and adults, ignite imaginations, and promote the power of play in children through hands-on experiences.

Cabinetmaker/Preparator

The museum Cabinetmaker/Preparator constructs all casework and display elements for permanent and temporary exhibition related projects. They assist the exhibitions team with all casework and display installation/deinstallation and assists other divisions/departments with non-exhibition projects when necessary.

KRAMER INSTALLATION INC. - Fine Art Services is looking for an Experienced Art Installer / Handler. Full time and part time positions will be considered.

Installing / Packing / Transporting Artwork. This position will be responsible for residential and commercial installations. Looking for someone with a good eye for art placement. Experience installing gallery walls and photo collages a plus.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Port Discovery Children's Museum is looking for a responsible and creative individual to be our full-time Studio Workshop Associate.

The Visitor Services & Museum Shop Associate is a part-time customer services position in the Education & Visitor Services Department of the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture, Baltimore, Md. The Associate carries out reliable and effective front line aspects of visitor services: greeting and reception, admissions, program registration (as needed), statistics, and information and public safety. The Associate also handles sales in the Museum Shop as needed.

Port Discovery is seeking a Community Outreach Coordinator to lead in the direct service and facilitation of outreach educational programming for the museum. The Coordinator will develop and facilitate educational activities and programs through Museum on the Road, Museum on the Move, After School, Port to Port and summer partnership programming.
