Special Events Coordinator

The Maryland Historical Society seeks a patron friendly Visitor Services Manager to head up the front lines at our Museum and Library. The Visitor Services Manageris responsible for the direction, facilitation, and management of the day to day tasks required at the Information/Admissions Desk and in the Museum Shop. This position also performs all functions of the Visitor Services department in order to provide a high level of customer service to the Maryland Historical Society’s members, visitors, volunteers and staff.

Everyman Theatre Inc., a non-profit, professional theater located in downtown Baltimore, MD, is seeking Scenic Artists to work part-time on either a contract or an hourly basis. Scenic Artists work under the supervision of the Scenic Charge. Ideal candidates possess excellent time management and organizational skills, the ability to work in both solo and team settings, and a dedication to maintaining artistic excellence and a safe, professional working environment. Applicants should possess proven skills in scenic painting, including faux finishes and texture applications.

The Resident Carpenter is a member of the production team who works primarily on the fabrication and installation of scenery, and reports to the Technical Director and the Assistant Technical Director. This is a year-round, full-time, salaried position which includes benefits. Ideal applicants possess a background in theatre, knowledge of stagecraft, ability to read working drawings, and experience in both steel and wood fabrication techniques, including welding.

The Maryland Historical Society (MdHS) is seeking a creative and energetic Grants Manager to join our fast-paced team. The Grants Manager carries out an aggressive plan to identify, solicit, manage and maintain support from public and private funders. Sources include state and local government agencies and private and corporate foundations. The position works closely with the program and finance departments to develop content and reports for a wide range of grant programs.

ARTSCAPE 2016: BEVERAGE MANAGER – JOB DESCRIPTION

The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts (BOPA), producer of Artscape, is seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Beverage Manager to oversee the daily operations of the festival’s beverage plan. The Beverage Manager will report directly to the Festival Manager and will be responsible for duties specific to the festival’s beverage plan. The festival’s beverage plan is essential in raising revenue for BOPA, to keep Artscape 100% free and open to the public.

Pumpkin Theatre is very happy to announce auditions for its upcoming 49th mainstage season. Auditions are:

-Saturday July 16th from 11am to 4pm

-Monday July 18th from 4pm to 9pm

The Baltimore Museum of Art (BMA) seeks to fill the position of Administrative Manager in the Director’s Office. This position oversees the day-to-day operations and administration of the Director’s Office and provides proactive support to the Director, including project management. S/he serves as a key liaison between the office and internal and external constituents including BMA staff, volunteers, and Trustees, maintaining the highest level of institutional service and confidentiality.
