This is a part time poistion offering approximately 12-24 hours per week, which requires availability to work THURSDAYS THROUGH SUNDAYS.

The Baltimore Museum of Art seeks a full-time Helpdesk Technician to oversee day-to-day activities of the help desk with attention to performance standards and service levels; manage delivery of end-user support, maintenance, and scheduling of new installations of hardware and software; and to ensure technical problems are promptly addressed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide front-line computer support for Baltimore Museum of Art staff utilizing IT Service Request (Jira-Helpdesk) portal.

The Baltimore Museum of Art seeks a full-time Major Gifts Officer to lead the BMA’s major gifts, annual giving and advancement events staff. This position will be part of the Advancement Leadership team and assume a major role in prospect management including cultivating, soliciting and stewarding professional relationships with individual prospects and donors who have the capacity to make five to seven figure personal gifts and/or gifts through a family foundation or donor advised fund.

The Baltimore Museum of Art seeks a full-time Director of Prospect Research and Database Management to oversee the BMA Advancement Division’s database and prospect management systems including policy development, data administration, reporting, technology management, and end-user training and support. This position will be part of the Advancement leadership team and assume a major role in assisting with the creation of financial and analytical reports along with implementing policies to maintain data integrity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The BMA is seeking a Director of Interpretation to spearhead the development, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of in-gallery interpretation. The Director of Inter­­­­pretation will create engaging interpretive content that will invite visitors to make relevant connections between the BMA’s exhibitions and collections and their own lived experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to fostering socially, intellectually, and physically accessible and inclusive visitor experiences.

The Baltimore Museum of Art (BMA) seeks to fill the position of Director of Exhibitions and Program Alignment. This position provides leadership and management for the cross-departmental and cross-divisional development of a comprehensive exhibition and programming plan for institutional mission-driven and earned revenue generating initiatives. This position facilitates collaborative working processes and effective communication among colleagues to develop schedules, work plans, evaluation metrics, and budgets that achieve BMA strategic goals.

Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine and Hampton National Historic Site
(PART-TIME, TEMPORARY)

This is a temporary position and work will be performed from approximately October 2018 – June 2019.

Hiring and Supervision: Successful candidates for the position of Museum Educator will be hired as members of the Baltimore National Heritage Area under the direction of the Chief of Interpretation of Fort McHenry NM&HS.

Location: Employees will work at Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine and Hampton National Historic Site.
