Arts for Learning Maryland (formerly Young Audiences of Maryland) is devoted to enriching the lives and education of Maryland’s youth through educational and culturally diverse arts programs. Through Arts for Learning, professional teaching artists from all disciplines partner with educators, schools, and school districts to provide -- on average -- over 300,000 hours of learning in, through, and about the arts to more than 185,000 Maryland students annually.

Port Discovery Children’s Museum is one of the top Children’s Museums in the United States and a top cultural institution in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. Our mission is to educate children through play and to inspire life-long learning. We are seeking a dependable, composed, and welcoming individual to join our Guest Services Department as our weekend Museum Safety Associate. The Safety Associate is responsible for the daily safety and security operations of the museum.

Executive Assistant

Type: Full-time, permanent, non-exempt
Reports to: Producing Executive Director; Director of Operations and Finance
Work Location: Downtown Baltimore; up to one day/week of remote work may be possible
Schedule: Business hours with occasional evenings and weekends required

Organization Description: Dance & Bmore (DAB) is a Baltimore-based ensemble of musicians, dancers, and theater-makers engaging communities through the arts. DAB programs are multigenerational, engaging youth, families, and senior citizens.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Facilities Assistant is the first point of contact for Chesapeake Arts Center (CAC) via phone or in person. Glen Echo Pottery (GEP) is seeking a full-time Executive Director responsible for the management and administration of its ceramic arts-based education programs. GEP is a mid size non-profit school with a mission to “build and sustain a strong, inclusive ceramic arts community focused on both individual learning and collaborative pursuits of excellence in clay. Port Discovery Children’s Museum is looking for a highly organized and creative individual to provide administrative assistance for the museum’s Development and Marketing department.

The Maryland Center for History and Culture (MCHC) seeks a dynamic fundraising professional to join our Advancement Department as a Major Gifts Officer. Reporting to the Vice President of External Affairs, the Major Gifts Officer will steward a portfolio of approximately 100 donors that generates funds through high-net-worth individuals and family foundations inclusive of annual fund, restricted, and planned giving support.
