This is a one-year appointment on a contract basis with opportunity to continue after 2023.

As a vital part of the Guest Services Department and Port Discovery team, the Museum Safety Expert is responsible for the daily safety and security operations of the museum.

About the gallery:

MAP offers internships for upper-level college students, graduate students, and recent graduates. Fall, Spring, and Summer Internships are available. MAP hours: 11 am-4 pm, Tuesday-Saturday.

Interns are responsible for assisting MAP in a variety of ways, ranging from programming to administration, with opportunities for special projects depending on skills and professional interests. Intern duties include: performing research; assisting with gallery preparation and installation; photo/video documentation, coordinating events, gallery sitting, social media, and community outreach.

General Summary of the Job:

Dance & Bmore seeks dynamic and experienced Teaching Artists to join their summer teaching teams June - August 2022!

Dance & Bmore Teaching Artists include musicians, theater makers, singers, and dancers who work with families with young children through senior citizens.

We are hiring teaching artists to work with our FazaFam Pre-K and Elder Arts Programs this summer.

Venue Summary

The Voxel is a new, multi-use blackbox theater in Baltimore Maryland. It is owned and operated by Figure 53, the makers of the show control software QLab. It was built to host artist residencies, classes, and as a laboratory for software research and development.

As a vital part of the Guest Services Department and Port Discovery team, Play Experts are responsible for providing guests with an excellent, memorable experience, stellar customer service, and supporting the Museum’s mission and educational philosophy. As a member of our team, you’ll support playful learning and discovery through meaningful interaction with children and adults, ignite imaginations, and promote the power of play in children through hands-on experiences.

Port Discovery Children's Museum is looking for some reliable individuals to join our team for the summer to be our part-time Housekeeping Associates. The Associate is responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, and thorough deep cleaning of all areas within the museum facility. The objective is to provide a safe, clean, and comfortable museum environment for guests and employees. The successful candidate will have good communication skills, can follow instructions, and takes pride in being part of our team!
