The Maryland Historical Society seeks an enthusiastic Visitor Services Associate to perform all functions of the Visitor Services Department in order to provide a high level of customer service to members, visitors, volunteers, and staff. Maryland Art Place (MAP) seeks an Administrative Assistant to serve in a part-time support role, primarily focused on Programmatic and Development work. Port Discovery Children’s Museum is looking for a responsible and energetic individual to be our full-time Assistant Guest Services Supervisor (AGSS). The Assistant Supervisor assists in the operation of the museum, which includes responsibility to ensure the museum is ready to open, to assist in the closing process, and to help maintain our exhibit spaces.

The BMA’s Department of Africa, Asia, the Americas, and Pacific Islands is seeking a Graduate level Intern studying the historic art and material culture of the indigenous Americas. Preference will be given to candidates with specialization in pre-Columbian art.

The Howard County Arts Council is seeking artists to take part in the juried portion of Paint It! Ellicott City 2020. The annual plein air paint-out will be held June 25-29 in picturesque and historic Ellicott City, Maryland, with a minimum of $1,000 in total awards given to participating artists. The event will culminate in a gallery exhibit at the Howard County Center for the Arts from June 29 - August 14. Juror: TBA. Deadline for entry: April 12.
