It was brought to our attention that our RT system experienced an unknown background error that prevented the submission of RT tickets for most of today, 6/30/2023. We have coordinated a solution with DoIT, and believe the issue to now be resolved.

If you submitted a ticket to us today, 6/30/2023, and did not receive an RT confirmation email, your request was not received by our team, and your RT ticket will need to be resubmitted in order to be processed.

We apologize for any inconvenience this causes, and thank you for your patience. Have a great weekend and 4th of July holiday.

AAOU SSC has posted updated deadline calendars for FY24 to our website here.

• Timesheet Deadline Calendar

Please ensure all requests are submitted to AAOU SSC for processing via an RT ticket, which can be found here.

For all new hires, please ensure you are maintaining paper timesheets and submitting them to AAOU SSC for processing timely (refer to the Timesheet Deadline calendar for submission deadlines) to avoid potential pay delays.

You may also locate your assigned department Payroll Preparer on our website here.

Questions should be submitted to our team via a General Inquiry RT Ticket.

To ensure all transactions for FY23 are processed and approved by the central office(s) FY23 year-end deadlines, and the expenses post against your FY23 budget, the AAOU SSC has developed a year-end calendar for your reference.

Please note this calendar also includes activities that are not processed via shared services, and those transactions still remain the departments responsibility to complete prior to the listed deadline. All AAOU SSC related deadlines are listed in RED.

The AAOU SSC deadlines listed in RED, indicate the date in which your RT Requests must be received by shared services for processing. Please ensure all requests are submitted by or before COB on the deadline specified (unless otherwise noted) to ensure your transaction is included in your FY23 budget. 

If the deadline is missed, the transaction will still be processed, however, it will hit your FY24 budget instead of FY23.

Good Afternoon,

Leadership has received implementation guidance for the Merit effective 07/01/2023, which was communicated by HR as part of the FY2024 Salary Guidance UMBC email that went out to supervisors and the payroll preparers/approvers my UMBC group last Thursday, May 18th.  

Therefore, all working budget files will be due this Thursday, May 24th at 1:00pm. Please ensure your control numbers balance after your merit considerations have been entered into your working file, and submit your finalized working budget files to aaoussc_budgeting@umbc.edu for review and submission to the CBO.
