We will be departing from the Commons Circle at 12:30 to go Whitewater Rafting on the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers!! Tickets are $35 (a great deal, since Whitewater typically costs $60+ dollars per person!) and are available at the CIC starting on March 9th! Keep in mind that there are only 40, so pick your ticket up ASAP! Be prepared to get wet and have a great time with good friends!! Lunch will be provided for us at no extra cost to anyone. This is included in the ticket price of $35. However, if you would like to rent a wetsuit (see the link below) it will be $11 the day of the trip. They will outfit you with a wetsuit when you arrive.

Where Do We Migrate To?* curated by Niels Van Tomme, explores contemporary issues of migration and experiences of displacement and exile. The exhibition features work in diverse media by nineteen internationally recognized artists and collectives including Acconci Studio, Svetlana Boym, Blane De St. Croix, Lara Dhondt, Brendan Fernandes, Claire Fontaine, Nicole Franchy, Andrea Geyer, Isola and Norzi, Kimsooja, Pedro Lasch, Adrian Piper, Raqs Media Collective, Société Réaliste, Julika Rudelius, Xaviera Simmons, Fereshteh Toosi, Philippe Vandenberg, and Eric Van Hove.An illustrated, scholarly catalogue will be published.

Where Do We Migrate To? Film Series
Accompanying the exhibition is a special film series, curated by Sonja Simonyi. Please join us for a wide range of international filmmakers and video artists throughout March and April. The first screening will be held at Shriver Hall, Johns Hopkins University, the day after the opening reception of the exhibition.
