]]>Reach Together Tutoring Program is hiring! This program partners UMBC students with Baltimore City and Baltimore County Public Schools to provide math tutoring to students during the school day. UMBC students are hired as math coaches (tutors) to work with students in 2nd through 8th grade.
Things to note:
-coaches do not need to have a strong foundation in higher level math, we work with students who are in 2nd through 8th grade and typically 2 or more grade levels behind
-all curriculum and resources are provided
-we provide ongoing professional development to help coaches navigate working with students
-transportation is often arranged for coaches to get from campus to the school site
-the weekly commitment can be as little as 3 hours but some coaches may have as many as 15 to 20 hours
