Due to the campus' early closure on February 11, 2019, we have decided to postpone our Mosaic Exposition Event to our Inclement Weather Date on March 5, 2019. Our Mosaic Past Meets Present Panel and Main Celebration Event are still scheduled as planned.

The UMBC Library is excited to offer many great workshops this semester! From using different software like SPSS or MATLAB to citing your sources and writing literature reviews for the Humanities or STEM, there's definitely a workshop for every research need. Save a Swipe for Retrievers in need! Did you know that you can donate some of your meals from your meal plans to those facing food insecurity?

Have extra meals on your red card that you aren’t able to use? Students on a meal plan can now enroll to donate up to one meal a week (5 or 10 meals per semester) to a shared pool until Friday, February 15th. Those meals will be distributed to students in need through Counseling Services to be used in True Grit’s. 225 Block meal plans will have 5 or 10 meals deducted when you sign up. Recurring meals per week (Flexible 10, 14, Terrific 12, Savvy 16) will have one meal deducted each week starting February 25th-May 6th. Ultimate Meal Plan holders will be donating their Friday lunch meal, students on the Ultimate will not be able to use a meal from 11:00 am - 4:00pm on Friday. Ultimate plan holders can still use their flex, Retriever Dollars or food funds. By donating these meals you agree to this form, these meals are non-revocable once submitted. You may sign up during the beginning of the semester until the drop/add date (February 15th, Spring 2019).
