Reported Incident: Motor Vehicle Theft

Location: Walker Avenue Garage, 3rd Level

Incident Description: An Acura was reported stolen from the third level of the Walker Avenue Garage. The vehicle was stolen by two unknown males wearing all black clothing at approximately 9:39 p.m. on November 13, 2024.

Reported Date/Time: August 29, 2024, 3:30 p.m.

Occurred Date/Time: August 28, 2024, 11:15 p.m.

Incident Description:  A student reported being stalked and harassed by two unknown male students in a Potomac Hall stairwell. The victim was yelled at and followed after refusing to provide personal information. The victim was chased to the victim’s room, and the perpetrators repeatedly banged on the door trying to get inside.

Incident Description:  A student reported on-going unwanted communications from a non-student. The perpetrator came on campus twice between August 24 and August 25 in an attempt to see the victim. The victim reported another student has received unwanted communications from the perpetrator.

At this time, the perpetrator is unknown to UMBC Police.

Incident Description: Two e-scooters were reported stolen from a stairwell outside Manokin. The e-scooters were secured and chained together at approximately 8:00 p.m. last night, and found to be missing at 8:00 a.m. this morning.

Reported Incident: Fondling

Location: On Campus Residence Hall

Reported Date/Time: July 23, 2024, 10:48 a.m.

Incident Description: UMBC Police received a report of a fondling that occurred in an on campus residence hall on July 23, 2024. The victim was spending the night at a friend's on campus residence.  When the victim woke up in the early morning hours, the known suspect was fondling the victim's genitals.

Reported Incident: Attempted Motor Vehicle Theft

Occurred Date/Time: June 13, 2024, 4:00 p.m. - June 14, 2024, 9:05 a.m.

Incident Description: An attempted theft of a Kia occurred on the corner of Walker Avenue and Hilltop Circle sometime between 4:00 p.m. yesterday and 9:05 a.m. this morning.

The victim parked and secured the vehicle at approximately 4:00 p.m. The vehicle was observed at 9:05 a.m. with a broken window and a damaged ignition.

Reported Incident: Attempted Motor Vehicle Theft

Location: Administration Drive Garage, Lower Level

Incident Description: An attempted theft of a Hyundai occurred on the lower level of the Administration Drive Garage at approximately 8:00 p.m. 

The victim parked the vehicle at 7:40 p.m. Two unknown males were observed inside the vehicle and fled on foot when the victim returned at 8:00 p.m.

Medium build, approximately 5'8"
Wearing a hat and gloves with a black sweat suit

Suspect 2:
13-16 year old male
Slim build, approximately 5'6"
Wearing a hat and gloves with a blue/green sweat suit
