Incident Description: An e-scooter was reported stolen from a bicycle rack outside of Chesapeake Hall. The theft occurred between 12:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Incident Description: Two e-scooters (Segway) were reported stolen from a bicycle rack outside of Chesapeake Hall. The thefts occurred between approximately 5:00 p.m. on March 18th and 5:00 p.m. on March 24th.

Reported Incident: Attempted Rape, Aggravated Assault

Location: Unknown Location On Campus

Reported Date/Time: March 22, 2024, 1:00 p.m.

Occurred Date/Time: March 12, 2024, 3:00 a.m. - 4:00 a.m.

Incident Description: UMBC Police received a report of an attempted rape and aggravated assault that occurred in an unknown location on campus on March 12, 2024. 

An unknown male fondled the victim and bruised their neck. The victim had to fight off the suspect to flee.

Location: On Campus Residence Hall

Reported Date/Time: March 16, 2024, 9:45 a.m.

Occurred Date/Time: March 11, 2024, 10:00 p.m.

Incident Description: UMBC Police received a report of a sexual assault that occurred in an on campus residence hall on March 11, 2024. 

The victim had a medical emergency in a stairwell and was found by an unknown male. The victim was taken into a room by the unknown male and raped.

Location: On Campus Residence Hall

Reported Date/Time: March 15, 2024, 6:16 p.m.

Incident Description: UMBC Police received a report of an attempted fondling that occurred in an on campus residence hall on March 15, 2024. The known suspect got into the victim's bed without any clothes. The suspect attempted to fondle the victim's genitals after the victim woke up.

The theft occurred between 1:30 p.m. on 1/28/2024 and 9:00 a.m. on 2/3/2024 and is the second Infiniti reported stolen to UMBC Police.
