Incident Description: The suspect stole the victim's phone after physically assaulting and strangling the victim.

Relationship Violence Information and Resources

• Relationship violence is never the victim's fault. The only person responsible is the abuser.

Incident Description: UMBC Police received a report of a motor vehicle theft on January 9, 2024, at 6:15 p.m. The reported incident occurred in Lot 8 between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024.

Reported Incident: Attempted Rape

Location: Hillside Apartments

Reported Date/Time: November 18, 2023, 12:56 a.m.

Incident Description: UMBC Police received a report of an attempted rape on November 18, 2023 at 12:56 a.m. The reported incident occurred in the Hillside Apartments between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on November 17, 2023.

The victim was approached by an unknown male outside of the Commons and sexually assaulted in the victim's apartment.

Reported Incident:  Motor Vehicle Theft 

Location:  Walker Avenue

Date/Time Reported:  June 25, 2023, 2:51 p.m.

Description: 

A Motor Vehicle Theft was reported to UMBC Police on June 25, 2023.  The reported theft, of a Hyundai sedan, occurred on Walker Avenue between 6:30 p.m. on June 24 and 2:00 p.m. on June 25.  Unknown suspect(s) possibly gained entry by breaking the vehicle's windows.
