Financial barriers and a lack of guidance often prevent underrepresented students from attending law school. 

The PracticePro Pre-Law Diversity Scholarship provides students with the resources to navigate the law school admissions process and prepare for fulfilling legal careers. 

Through the Pre-Law Diversity Scholarship, PracticePro aims to cultivate diverse talent at the earliest stage by helping underrepresented pre-law students secure acceptances to top law schools and prepare for legal recruiting and practice.

Please bring your UMBC ID card with you. We will need to take a photo of it before taking your headshot, to keep track of whose photos are whose.

The workshop will be conducted by Steve Hayden, a veteran TestMasters instructor with over 12 years of LSAT teaching experience, an official LSAT score of 176, and a J.D. from Boston University. 

Attendees will be challenged with a series of difficult LSAT questions and Steve will share recommended methods for tackling them.

During this event, an Accredited Financial Counselor from AccessLex Institute will review the essential components of a successful law school application and share tips and strategies that can be utilized by historically underrepresented students to navigate the law school application process. Attendees can follow up this event with free financial coaching, lessons, and events through Ask EDNA! – the Education Network at AccessLex.

This opportunity is open to current students/graduates interested in taking the LSAT in summer of 2025.

Each year, LSAC Law School Forums serve as invaluable opportunities for aspiring law students to learn about law school and connect with law school representatives. 

By attending an LSAC Law School Forum — whether in-person or online — you'll be able to connect directly with law school representatives from across North America, learn about financial aid and the law school admission process, and get answers to any questions you may have.

This year, the conference will feature BIPOC-filled panels discussing crucial topics such as financing law school, LSAT preparation, and crafting a strong law school application.

Additionally, the Law School Fair will provide students with the opportunity to meet one-on-one and message admissions officers from over 45 law schools eager to connect with them.
