Learn About Running for PSS and CUSS [Virtual Info Session]
What do we do? Why do we matter? Come ask your questions!

Interested in meeting folks from across campus and making a difference at UMBC for yourself and your colleagues? Consider running for a position in shared governance. As an exempt staff member, consider running for an elected seat on the Professional Staff Senate (PSS) and/or Council of University System Staff (CUSS).
Nominations for both PSS and CUSS run from April 6 to April 20, with elections taking place from April 22 to May 1.
At this virtual info session, current members and leaders of both PSS and CUSS will give an introduction to the kinds of work we do, the time commitment involved, and what they've gained from their experiences in shared governance at UMBC. There will also be plenty of time for your questions.
