New Mississippi Law Protects Survivors Who Report Sexual Offenses
Mississippi takes a powerful stand for survivors with the enactment of RAINN supported bills HB 861 and SB 2313, landmark legislation designed to protect those reporting sexual assault.
“Take It Down Act” Clears House Energy and Commerce Committee
On April 8th, the bipartisan-supported Take It Down Act passed markup by the the House Energy and Commerce Committee, giving survivors of tech-enabled sexual abuse the first real hope for justice and action.
