Do you enjoy performing poetry? Do you feel at home beneath the spotlight? Do you have what it takes to compete with top slam poets from all over the country? Come try out for UMBC's slam poetry team!!!

Retriever Poets, UMBC's poetry club, sends a team of students to compete in CUPSI (College Unions Poetry Slam Invitational) every year. We are looking for a team of five slam poets and one alternate to join us at CUPSI 2019 in Houston from April 10-13, 2019. CUPSI Auditions will be held on Monday, December 3rd, from 7-9 PM in Lower Flat Tuesdays. If interested, please fill out the registration form and memorize two original poems to perform (3 minutes maximum per poem). There will be free food, and all are welcome to come out and support the performers!
