Need to assess the success of the pilot and determine next steps including developing protocol for maintaining assignments. \r\n\r\n- Explore modifying advisee list to include major for maintenance purposes.\r\n- Requrested by Michele Bulger: In Assign Advisee functionality, develop a mechanism to maintain former student advisee assignments without cluttering faculty\'s advisee list\r\n- For departments using Assign Advisee functionality, develop a REX report to detail students change from one major to another so that students advisor assignment information can be updated in SA.
The items that have changed are:
Status Summary: Per Pam Hawley a functional specification for the batch advisor assignment process has been submitted. Once it has been developed and is available in a testing environment we will share it with the group at a TBD meeting in the fall.
We are still addressing some issues with capturing all data for students who have been assigned advisors that no longer match their declared major - we identified some cases where plan data was not populated on the "assign advisor" page and cases where assigned advisors are now inactive. We are working on cleaning this up so that the report can be released.

Mechanism to archive and retrieve historical Schedule of Classes
The items that have changed are:
Status Summary: Pam says - I think the historical schedule of classes report part of #733 also takes care of this need, as the report would essentially be able to produce entire schedules or just schedules for particular departments, time slots, subjects, etc depending on the search parameters selected by the user.
Note that we also plan to look with Kevin at how much legacy data that was not converted int SA schedules of classes (i.e. days/times) for pre Summer 2009 schedules could be pulled into the archives from SIS inquiry data.
