Student Org of the Week: LGBTQ+ Student Union Come as you are! We are an organization that is looking to provide safety, comfort, encouragement, support, and fun for all UMBC's LGBTQ+ students and our allies! What makes us different is that we want to carve out a space for those who need belonging and family at UMBC, and we are willing to acknowledge when we as an org or a Board are not meeting that goal or our community's needs. We are striving to be a safe and foundational place for queer and LGBT+ students, while also working to strengthen and build more coalitions with other safe places and people on our campus.
