What is a Hat Tournament?

A hat tournament is a fun, co-ed ultimate frisbee tournament. This event is focused on learning the sport, having fun, and making new friends. We welcome all skill levels (even if you’ve never touched a frisbee)! The tournament will take place on September 27th, 2025 from 10 AM – 4 PM at the UMBC stadium field.

How do I join?

The cost is $5 for current UMBC students and $10 for non-UMBC students. We accept cash and Venmo (@UMBCShazam)

Bring a white shirt and a dark shirt (no gray!), cleats or running shoes, as well as plenty of water!
