Herbert Run Greenway Trail Restoration + Hike!
The UMBC Office of Sustainability and Eco-Ambassadors are hosting a cleanup and group hike of our ON-CAMPUS hiking trail, the Herbert Run Greenway on Friday, November 8th, from 12-3pm. We will meet out front of the Chesapeake Arena!

You do not have to stay the whole time, you can come/go and join different groups as you please!
Groups will split to target trash pickup, invasives removal, and trail widening.

Our Goals:
  1. To help bring awareness to the existence of the trail and the benefits of an outdoor walk for mental health + well-being
  2. To engage with students, faculty, and staff for an exciting hands on experience
  3. Create a memorable and reoccurring event to help instill a culture of sustainability on campus
