IASK: Improve Your Animation Auditions: Sep 18 and 19

Kristin Paiva here. I'm a Casting and Voice Director currently working across animation and video games for Disney, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim and independent productions. IASK is a small, hands-on animation intensive I teach alongside veteran actor Scott Parkin, whose 30+ year career includes more than 4,000 commercials, many of them national campaigns. What makes the workshop different is that we're working from both sides of the audition: Scott from the performer side, and me from the casting and directing side.

Actors perform, get redirected, adjust and work again. They learn what's landing, what isn't, how casting is receiving their choices, and how to bring more specificity, spontaneity and life into an animation audition.

There are only 10 performers in each session, so everyone works.
